This book is a new release of a previous one named “Omaha Holdem Poker”. The essence of the first book has been rewritten by author with some corrections, which making it up to date and giving explanations of some issues that could be misunderstood by readers in previous version. Twenty pages were dedicated to discussion of Pot Limit Omaha game.
Ciaffone himself loves to play Pot Limit Omaha high and being an observer for Card Player magazine, has written four other works devoted to poker, so it can be seen from this 124 page book. Foundations of Omaha High Limit game, described in this book, may bring a beginner up to level of an experienced player.
But if the reader has already got acquainted with the basics, this book has a limited amount of necessary data.
Thus, ‘Omaha Poker’ is a brief and substantial book, that offers the basic guidelines for beginners to win the Omaha game. The original “Omaha Holdem Poker” was a great new player’s guide, but a great difference between Omaha and Holdem terms makes it incomprehensible to new readers. So the rewrite was the only right way.
